Lost my Mammaw

This morning at 7:50 my Mammaw Rosia went HOME to be with the Lord....not hurting anymore....So thankful for the Lords comfort and grace...she looked so peaceful...so thankful for all the nurses at the Nursing Home that cared for her...Really touched my heart when they all lined the hallway when the Funeral Home carried her out......Please remember to pray for our family during this sad time.....The next couple of days is gonna be hard... Already longing for the day when I will see her again....I loved her so......

First Day of Fall

AUTUMN LEAVES heaven’s hands have touched this tree, turned all the leaves to gold. Each day an angel walks by here, as Autumn winds blow cold. Those crimson leaves are tears of grief, dropping from dark skies; remind us of Christ’s suffering and his sacrifice....
took these pictures last fall 2008

Absolutely Breathtaking....A tree in one of our neighbours yard...So sad that the ice storm that hit took part of this tree...can't wait to see how this same tree will look this fall....stay tuned...

1 1/2 Years

James came home from work 9-18-2009 and surprised Jaden with a little mini ice cream cake from Baskin Robbins to help us celebrate Jaden turning 1 1/2....All the workers at BR said that James was the first Daddy to ever do that at their store and thought that it was the cutest idea ever....Jaden thought so too because he loves ice cream!!!!!!

James even cut 1 candle into a half.......to make 1 1/2

Happy 1 1/2 Jaden
Daddy and Mommy Love You So Much!!!!!!

Jaden and His Granny

So thankful that Granny and Marie made it here safely from Texas, we have missed them so much... Wasn't sure if Granny would of been able to make such a long trip since she has been so sick but she's here and we enjoyed it the other night when we got to spend the evening with them...Granny hasn't seen Jaden since he was 9 months old and she thought he had really gotten big.....

Love our times together....We love you so much Granny!!!!!!

Finally Some Landscaping...

Fall is officially here and that means it's time for some landscaping...Last Fall landscaping was the last thing on our mind, but with the Lord's goodness, mercy and grace He has brought us a long ways from where we were last fall...Thank you Dear Lord for everything.....

Glendale, KY

Each year on our Wedding Anniversary we always like to drive by where we had our Wedding Reception at and just reminisce about our special day.....Our hearts are sad this year to look at what was a Beautiful Bed and Breakfast to just a plain ol ordinary house now, where the owners appear to not be taking that great of care of it. We can recall so many great memories that we shared here and guess that's what it will have to be....I was hoping to come back to the Bed and Breakfast and spend the weekend on our 10 year Anniversary, maybe by then someone will buy it and make it that again.....

What used to be a Bed and Breakfast..Our Reception Place...
Took this picture just for Susan....On our way down to Glendale for our Anniversary Dinner passed an Amish Dad and his little Girl riding in their buggy, can you tell that the Dad was trying to hide from the camera....he held his head down when we passed by because he saw the camera flash...They don't take pictures......Thought of Susan and Robert because we always drive down this same road to get our Amish baskets each year when they come to KY....

Our 8th Anniversary 2009

Had a great night together...

Our Special Day

Today James and I celebrate our 8th Wedding Anniversary. It just seems like yesterday we was making all the preparations for this GREAT DAY of our lives. God has blessed our marriage beyond compare. I thank Him each day for blessing me with an amazing Husband, Best Friend and the Greatest Daddy to Jaden. When we started out, we thought the road of love would be simple. Since then we've discovered it has twists and turns, ups and downs, blessings and challenges, laughter and tears. But through every step there is one thing that has never changed...There's no one I would rather share this journey with than You, James my Husband my Love.....

An Anniversary Prayer:

Lord help us remember when we first met and the strong love that grew inside us...
May we never take each other's love for granted, but always experience that breathless wonder that exclaims, "Out of all this world you have chosen me." When life is done and the sun is setting, may we be found then as now still hand in hand. May we serve you happily, faithfully, together, until at least one shall lay the other in the arms of You our Loving Lord...

Myrtle Beach Anniversary Vacation

James and I headed out first thing Friday morning to South Carolina to go on a little mini Anniversary Vacation...Destination: Myrtle Beach
I had to start out driving since James had to work 3rd shift Thursday night(so thankful his boss at work let he do this since James did not have any Vacation time left, he used it all up in the beginning of the year when Jaden was so sick)...Couldn't hardly see to drive in the beginning from all the crying. This was our first time ever leaving Jaden and It was so hard even though we knew Hanya and Mom was fully capable of taking care of him.
Jaden was so good for them and that made it a little easier for us knowing that each time we talked to them he was playing and having just a good time. He definitely was even more spoiled when we got back home.....Thanks Mom and Aunt Hay Hay for keeping him, we couldn't have done it without you...While we were away we realized that spending time together is something that we can never take for granted. We praised the Lord for each other and thanked Him for eight unbelievable years. We had a great time of Waves, Sun, Sleep, Food, and more food.....We are back to the Diet since the Vacation has come and gone....
