2009 4th of July (Jaden's 2nd One)

We wanted to celebrate the 4th with all our family and friends so we headed off to our first stop at Sportsmans Lake where all of James family was at. Upon arriving Jaden decided that he didn't feel very good and he let us know real quick that he wanted to go back home..... So after 10 minutes of trying to socialize with family that we haven't seen in years, we had to leave. So sad that we couldn't have stayed longer to visit, but we had to remember that Jaden just had surgery only a week and a half ago and we probably was asking too much of him.......

After we got back home, we gave him his pain medicine hoping this would make him feel better. It took a little while to get him settled but after a bit he calmed down. James and I felt bad because we were thinking maybe that we took Jaden out too soon.....

After dark Jaden acted like he was feeling better, so we decided to drive out to our church where they was having a big celebration. James fixed us up a plate of all the yummy 4th of July food, we sat in the car and had ourselves a little picnic and watched the FireWorks.

As our night was coming to an end, We thanked our Lord for our freedom and all the blessings He has bestowed upon us and our great nation. What we thought was going to be an evening at home turned out to be better than expected.......
