Texas Vacation Day ~4~ Galveston Part ~1~

On our 4th day of Vacation we loaded back up in the van for another road trip 5 hours down the road to Galveston. James and I wanted to take Jaden to see the ocean on his first vacation. It was just the 3 of us since Robert, Susan and the boys are saving up for their big China trip to go get Brynn. We got to Galveston around 6ish Tuesday night. Took a couple of stops looking for our motel since some were already booked up. James found our destination at the Quality Inn and we unloaded all our things the whole house pretty much. We were starving at this point so we hurried up and got dressed up to head out on the town. We loaded up the stroller and went walking down the Beach Strip. It felt so good to walk alongside the Ocean with that wonderful breeze blowing from it. Jaden was all relaxed in it from where he had been couped up in his car seat for 5 hours, he loved the stroller ride. After I found where we were gonna stop for a couple of pictures that's what we did. Couldn't pass up the beautiful steps with all the palm trees in the background. After our picture session, which went perfect thanks to Susan for letting us borrow their tripod. We found the perfect place to eat at Landry's Seafood. We have heard several different people talk about how good their food was and we were so excited that we were about to find out. We put our name on the waiting list and got right in. Couldn't take the stroller in with us so we got to take turns holding little man. Our food was delicious especially the fried onion rings that was under all our fried shrimp. The best part of our whole day was when our waitress came to our table when we were all  finished eating and said that there would be no bill...Someone paid it anonymously, tip and all...She showed us the signed receipt $52.00 in total. God is so good and as we left the restaurant our hearts rejoiced knowing that no one can out give God. We prayed that whoever the person was that paid our bill that the Lord would bless them beyond measure in return. We walked back down alongside the beach to our motel room. Jaden was about to fall asleep so we hurried up and got him all settled. James and I ate our Strawberry Cheesecake that we got to go and we were out like a light...
