Our Cousins that live in Texas are just only one week away from going to get their Daughter in China. I copied from their blog and wanted to share it on ours. We are so excited for them. We might just have to plan a special trip to Texas this winter, we can't wait to get to meet sweet Brynn.
Going to China!!!!!
We received our Travel Approval today!!
Our agency hopes to have our Consulate appointment confirmed by tomorrow so that we can finalize our departure date. We are hoping for November 24th departure... which is 13 days away!
We cannot believe this day has finally come! After paperchasing for over a year... we have finally reached the end!! Our stats are complete with our 11/11 TA and we are starting a new chapter!
So many prayer requests come to mind with the new journey ahead of us now.
I will start with the one on my heart tonight.
Please pray for our Brynn as she will now have to go back to the orphanage and wait for us to come get her. China always sends the babies that are in foster care back to their orphanage a couple of weeks before the adoptive parents come. Pray for her foster family as they say goodbye to their sweet girl.
Brynn, we are coming for you and are so excited to see what the Lord has planned for your life!
Our dates have been confirmed!
We will be leaving here on Monday, November 22nd. We have an overnight layover in Chicago. We will be arriving in China late on the night of the 24th. We will have Brynn in our arms on November 29th! We will be back home and together as a family of five on December 10th!
We are nervous and excited all at the same time.
Continue to pray for Brynn while she waits at the orphanage for us.
Pray for our sweet Barrett who will be staying home with his Gram and Papa.
Pray for Robert, Blake, and I that we will have peace and safety as we travel.
That's all for now... got to get things done so that I can mark them off my list!
