Rest In Peace

This past weekend my Brother had to bury his momma...She fought long and hard for several years but the cancer overtook her weakened body...Our Family witnessed the most sacred, humbling funeral procession...She wanted to be carried away to her grave by Horse Drawn Carriage...It was something that I have never seen before at a funeral...It was beautiful, sunny and warm that day and as we followed behind the carriage with our windows down, you could hear the horses walk in unison side by side all the way to the cemetery...I know that Beverly was looking down from Heaven with a big smile on her face because this was the most touching graveside service I've ever witnessed...she would have loved it...My brother is having a hard time dealing with everything she left behind but my prayer is that he will draw closer to the Lord through all of this...

this picture of my brother absolutely breaks my heart...he is standing there watching
those pallbearers carry his momma out of that carriage to place her at her grave...
tears...tears...
