For those of you who have been following my blog...I'm sure you're wondering what has happened to Kacey...Let's just say it has been crazy the last couple of weeks...Jaden had a ton of follow-up visits for his 3 year check-up and he has Pre-School 3 days a week now. We also still drive to Louisville to the Gym weekly on Fridays...that in itself keeps me on my toes...then not to mention our house building...Our Carpet was installed last Friday and if anything bad is gonna happen, let's just say it's gonna happen to us...Jaden had an appointment last Friday up in Louisville so I had my Sister Hanya drive out to our house to unlock the door for the Carpet Men...Who would have ever dreamed that they were about to lay not only the wrong color carpet but the wrong style of carpet as well...James and I were so excited to drive out to our soon-to-be home to see the carpet all installed because the Carpet Man called and said it was all in...We went in to the house turned on the lights and we both looked at each other and to be honest we were in shock literly SHOCK.......We are so uncertain why things go the way they do sometime for us........but after everything we have been through we are kinda use to stuff like this when it happens.......after the initial Shock we walked back out to our car and waited till the Carpet Store opened the next morning......James went in.......I sat out in the car........I told him to please be kind and not say anything out of the way (because he was Super Upset and very aggravated......) he was in there for about 30 minutes and came back out to say that it's gonna be at least another couple of weeks before they can make it all right......Claims has to be filed and adjusters has to be notified and on, and on, and on........So in the meantime we have been working super hard on planning our 4th Annual Jaden's Day Celebration Golf Scramble which will take place June 25th at the LaRue County Golf Course.........we have been out and about raising Sponsors for each hole and getting Door-Prizes donated........James has been working on designing our Shirts for this year.............it's gonna be huge...........If you wish to purchase a Jaden's Day Shirt please message us your shirt sizes soon.......We will be turning in our Shirt Orders the end of May.............All our proceeds this year will benefit Jaden's Gym KIDS CENTER...........I also have been raising money for the same place called Walk and Roll For Kids........My 2 mile walk is May 21st at 8:30 in the morning up in Louisville............so now you can kinda see why blogging has been on the back burner for a bit...........the last 3 days we have been without Internet due to all the storms that have hit us.............since late last night the Internet/Phone guys must have fixed something because today I was able to log on.................So in this post I'm gonna include what all has taken place since the end of March starting with our Annual Missions Conference at Church, Jaden's Swallow Study and Upper GI, the final touches on our house before our carpet gets installed including all our Door Knobs, and last but not least my Momma's Birthday.............
Hope you ENJOY all the Catching Up Pictures.........................

During our Missions Conference the Lord spoke to my heart...We (Our Church) have supported the Arce Family Missionaries to the Country of Venezuela for the past 10 years.......Dan Arce was our Special Speaker each night of the conference.........The Second Night of our Conference he said something that just went straight to my heart..........Let me start with saying that he is a very talented man when it comes to playing the piano........He had several different specials he played during our services.........I could sit and listen to him sing and play all night.............With that being said, he mentioned that over in Venezuela they have never had a piano.......NEVER..........He went on to say all the people in the villages walk for miles and miles just to make it to Church...........and when they get there they sing their hearts out acapella..........He siad that his family have been praying for years that the Lord would provide a way for them to gain a piano to be used as a ministry to stirring the hearts of those people who have never heard music played on one beofore........the Lord started moving inside my heart..........I have a piano I thought to myself...........It has been at my Dad and Moms sitting in their Living Room since I was 12 years old...........Never Ever gets played and is in great condition............My mammaw bought it for me when I took piano lessons..................I was so convicted about having this and it never getting used and how for years this Missionary Family has been praying for one............I just knew in my heart that I had to give it away to them.................So I called my mom and shared with her what the Lord had spoken to me about............She was in tears bedcause she knew that my mammaw had spent her hard earned money on it to buy it for me and that I was gonna gift it away to the Mission Field............Happy Tears streamed down our faces because we knew Mammaw would be so proud to know that the piano she had bought for me was now gonna travel across the ocean to a foreign Country to be used to speak to the hearts of Lost People..........
After I spoke to mom I then shared everything to James since he was wondering why all the tears......
I then called the Missionaries to tell them the good news.........You would have thought it was Christmas or something........They couldn't wait to get to my Mom and Dads to see the Piano...........
We all met out at My parents house.......we sat around and talked for awhile..........and then
Dan asked if he could pray and bless the Piano........He started his prayer off with thanking God
for allowing my Mammaw to purchase the piano and then for speaking to my heart abot it giving it away and that He would bless it in a mighty way..........Tears of JOY flooded our faces..........

Jaden's Name on the Wall for his Swallow Study and Upper-Gi
Getting all ready to start the test..... |
He was such a Big Boy and done a good job....the results showed
that he has Pre-Mature Spillage which means that he holds whatever
he swallows in the back of his throat for awhile instead of swallowing it as
soon as he sucks it in.........We are waiting for Dr. Moriarty
to review the results to see if for some reason the cyst that
was on the front of his BrainStem could have caused Jaden
to be doing this.......His speech therapist said she has several kids
that do this and she hopes that starting to use the Vital Stem again
on Jaden will help to re-train his swallowing skills........He had to swallow for many
months with that cyst on his brain and we are hoping that this is something that we can
overcome........will know more soon..........
Our Front Door all painted and the Header for above it finally came in
