Kosair NIC-U Reunion At The ZOO

This past Saturday was Kosair NIC-U's Annual Zoo Reunion... last year when we took Jaden we said to ourselves that when the next reunion rolled around we wanted our whole family to be able to go to help celebrate Jaden's life and accomplishments...When we got our invitation in the mail we started the planning process and invited everyone...We ended up with a great looking bunch minus Hanya, Shelby, Seth, Janay, Jagger, and Jenna (they had already made other plans for the day) but we was very thankful that Granny and Marie got to come, they are here visiting us from Texas...We told Granny that we hoped that the Zoo didn't keep her....Jaden got to see some of the Nurses that cared for him while he was so sick and we got to visit with some families that we lived with at the Ronald McDonald house...It was a happy time for some and for others it was a sad day as well, we visited with a couple that lost their little girl this past year and they still was able to get themselves together and come visit with all the GREAT NURSES of Kosair that cared for their little girl....It made us realize even more that each and everyday is a gift from the Lord and a BLESSING...We don't take for granted Jaden's health, we praise the Lord each and every single day we have with him because just like this family we could be right there with them....

~ZOO Reunion 2010~

Had a great time at the Zoo...Jaden was completely exhausted, this was his first big outing since his surgery...He slept all the way home and even slept for a whole hour when we got home...Already looking forward to next years Reunion...
