Look Who's Walking.....

Jaden just started back to the GYM (therapy) last Thursday since mid March....he has only been getting in home therapy since the doctors have only released him for light therapy until the Brain Cyst comes down more in size...We decided to take him back to therapy up in Louisville because we felt like he needed some good leg stretches since his muscles seemed to be getting tight...I shared with his therapist that at home he did not have anything that he could actually stand up on without us having to hold him up...I let them know that the walker we had at home he has completely outgrown by about 7 or 8 months ago... that was the only thing we could put him in where he could stand and actually feel that he had feet....so last Thursday Jaden got sized for a special walker just for him...it's being made and will be delivered in a couple of months...in the meantime they loaned us one until his comes in....so he actually didn't get in it until Friday night here at home....didn't know how he would do in it at first but he absolutely loves it....His little legs are still very weak but we know that the more he stands in this the stronger they will become....this is his first time ever he has been able to walk with the help of this special walker...We are so thankful to the person that designed it because it is allowing Jaden to do something he has never been able to do before....Praying that this will give ...his little legs the strength they need to be able to walk all by himself someday....James and I are so proud of him seeing him work so hard, it wears him out quick but he's gonna get there....

Jaden's name got posted at the Kids Center's (therapy GMY) ABILITY WALL today...this is what the victory note said: Jaden McBride can hold his head upright and can stand with help (new walker) he is learning to take steps YAY! Mommy is so proud of her big boy today!!!!
TODAY TRULY WAS SOMETHING WE HAVE BEEN PRAYING FOR, FOR SUCH A LONG TIME.....A GOOD THERAPY DAY WHERE JADEN FELT LIKE BEING THERE AND ENJOYED BEING WORKED WITH...IT JUST LETS US KNOW THAT HE'S STARTING TO FEEL BETTER....OUR THERAPIST REMINDED US THAT JADEN HAS COME SO FAR AND HE'S JUST NOW WANTING TO LEARN ALL THE LITTLE THINGS HE HAS MISSED OUT ON FROM BEING SO SICK....IT WILL ALL COME IN DUE TIME....WE GO THIS COMING UP FRIDAY JULY 9TH TO GET A NEW MRI....PRAYING SO HARD THAT WE CAN GET SOME MUCH NEEDED ANSWERS ON HIS BACK AND TO KNOW IF HE HAS DEVELOPED SCOLIOSIS AND TO CHECK THE CYST SIZE.....PLEASE HELP US PRAY....
