LOT # 2 WILDWOOD ESTATES SUBDIVISION (DOGWOOD DRIVE)

The Lord never ceases to amaze us...After several weeks of driving every single night through our hometown looking for land/homes that's for sale, we would in return end up back to the place we are staying currently with no peace about anything we had looked at. There's several different places we would keep driving past and think well maybe, well maybe not. All the lots that we had found had too many restrictions for size, brick, paved drive, and all the things that are very costly when it comes to us wanting to downsize. This past weekend we loaded back up in the car once more to go for our nightly drive in hopes we would find something new that maybe we had missed. We drove past all the places that we thought was a maybe and continued on and there it was....A new sign that said For Sale By Owner. James and I looked at each other and said lets drive through this subdivision and see what it is. We didn't know if it was a house for sale or just land. We started down the road and saw the sign Lot # 2 for sale. Our hearts sank because we had driven through this subdivision before and never even thought for a second that this lot would ever come available to purchase. So we parked the car and got Jaden out. We walked all around the property before calling the number that was on the sign. James and I were so excited we couldn't hardly stand it because this lot has a ton of trees something we have always wanted. It just felt right, something inside us said THIS IS IT, THIS IS IT. After just a short period of time being there we fell in love with this land in hopes that when we called the number we would be able to come to an agreement on a purchase price. James wanted me to call the number to find out the price and to ask the questions about the subdivision requirements, something that we had found to be a problem with all the other lots we had looked at. I dialed the number and an older gentleman answered, I asked about the lot he had for sale and he said that he had just put the For Sale sign up. Him and his wife had just decided that they needed to sell it because they had too many other properties to try and manage and take care of, he went on to give us the lots requirements that fit exactly the square footage to our new house plan James drew for us and their asking price. I told him I would let my husband know and we would be calling him back. I shared with James the price and the requirements and we were within $500 of what we were willing to pay for any land that we found, We called him back with our offer and he accepted it. So we are pleased to say that after today's closing we will be the proud owners of Land on Lot # 2 in the Wildwood Estates Subdivision. We know that the Lord is in control and it's all because of Him that we found this land.
