Texas Vacation Day ~1 & 2~

James and I were so excited to be able to take Jaden on his first vacation to Texas this year. We I was a bit nervous taking him on his first road trip 13 hours away from home but we knew we had several families and little friends that have been praying so hard for us each day and knew that they were so anxious to finally get to meet Jaden. Our drive to Texas turned out to be better than we had anticipated since Jaden slept the whole trip. Driving a night was a major plus for him but not so much for the two of us. We left Kentucky around 7ish p.m. Friday night and arrived 7:30ish a.m. Saturday and as the sun was rising up Jaden woke up and the look on his face was priceless. James and I could just read his little mind "are we still driving" but only had about 10 minutes from Robert and Susan's house. Our first 2 days we spent visiting most of James Aunts who live here in Texas that never have gotten to see him before.

We had a good first two days here in the H-O-T state of Texas temperatures reaching 107 since we've been here. Looking forward to the rest of our time here.
