Surgery Night & Day 1 Post-Op

Jaden is resting well getting morphine every hour taking him down to get a new head CT @ 9 2night to get a new image post-op praying the hole they cut stays open

Update 10:45 pm Just got back from heat CT was very painful moving him but just got back to PIC-U and settled down with morphine just got 1/2 strength formula feed

He got in some pain a couple of times thru the night but morphine was due each time he so far has tolerated his 1/2 strength formula feeds and just got a full one

Waiting on Doctor Rounds at 7 am will get the results from his CT Scan from lastnight...we r so thankful that he's doing so well even thru the 1st night post-op

We know that it's all because of your prayers and ours...God is Good all the time and His arms has been wrapped around us and we can feel them...Amazing Feeling~

Praying for a day without any complications or setbacks. GOALS: GET A LINE OUT, CATH OUT, I KNOW THAT CATH OUT WILL MAKE JADEN MUCH HAPPIER, PAIN CONTROL

still waiting on rounds...Jaden's waking up more from the anaesthesia as it wears off, has been in pain and real upset so they just gave him some Valium to help ease his nerves down...Praying for good news from our CT scan from lastnight Post-Op around 10ish...thanks for your countless prayers~

Just met with Doctor, Jadens head CT showed that the cyst has drained and is very promising that it will stay open!!! He is very, very pleased... got cath out...

James and I are sitting here in the Intensive Care Unit overlooking our son that has endured yet another painful brain surgery...This is the best we have ever seen him 1 day post-op...He's the strongest little guy...His strength we know comes from the Lord and ours as well...We just met with one of the Doctors from Neuro...We  just held our breaths as they read the results to us...said that the CT from last night is so promising...the cyst is decompressed...DECOMPRESSED...DECOMPRESSED...we have been waiting since Jaden was 9 months old to hear these words...We are praising the Lord this morning from our hospital room and trusting that He's gonna make a way to keep that hole open...Our ultimate desire is that it will stay open FOREVER and never close itself off...

Thank you for your countless prayers for us...We feel them...Please pray for complete healing free from any setbacks or complications...We are praying his IV's holds up thru all these pain meds they're pushing in and all the antibiotics he's getting. He still has his "A" line in and hoping to get it taken out today...gonna continue his full feeds and hoping he can keep them all down...So thankful we are in a private room that's free from all the loud sounds out in the Intensive Care Unit...

Praise the Lord the cyst is DECOMPRESSED!
